Artificial Intelligence (AI) has recently become impactful in various ways; different professions and positions are finding ways to use it to their advantage. As far as the future goes, society is slowly replacing human duties–to AI duties. Many worry that their job could get taken over; that the human completing this job will no longer be needed because AI can do it more efficiently. Accounting jobs, content writing, data entry, and customer service jobs are all being threatened by Artificial Intelligence.
However, many jobs still remain unreplaceable by AI. For example, healthcare workers, mental health professionals, scientists, researchers, manual labor jobs, etc. AI is imponent to carrying out hands-on support, so it is not capable of working in hospital and taking care of patients. Artificial Intelligence is not capable of standing up and going to construct a building. It is great at mimicking human creativity, but is not capable of directly replicating it.
Considering jobs that will continue to be affected; the main industries impacted by AI include healthcare, education, and marketing. In healthcare, AI can be an attribute to making diagnoses. For example, it can examine a patient’s x-ray and suggest how to treat a condition moving forward. In education, AI can be helpful for students and for teachers. It is able to create personalized content for each student to accommodate their individual needs. Advancements with AI in marketing enables marketers to engage with their audiences more effectively and efficiently. Of course, AI is great at analyzing and predicting data as well. These three industries are prime examples of how AI is expanding and being put to use in several aspects. However, there is no industry that has not yet utilized AI in some way. Built In Future states, “About 55 percent of organizations have adopted AI to varying degrees.” Resources announce that “The AI market will go from $150.2 billion in 2023 to $1,345.2 billion by 2030.”
