Collierville High School Assistant Dr. Janice Allen

Dr. Janise Allen joined the CHS staff as an Assistant Principal in 2023. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College, Master’s degree from the University of Memphis through the Memphis Leadership Scholars Program, and Doctoral degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Allen began her teaching career as a high school physical science teacher in Mississippi before transitioning to Collierville Middle where she served as an instructional coach, science teacher, basketball cheer coach, and the Dragons Extended Learning Coordinator.

Dr. Allen and her husband, Joshua, have one little boy, Preston Christopher

At CHS, Dr. Allen is responsible for the Science Department, SGA/FMP, Freshman Orientation, PSAT/NMSQT, ACT, RTI/SRTI, Community Events and 11^th grade IEPs.

Adeline Shilling, Student Journalist

Adeline Shilling is a student journalist for DragonMedia. She is currently a junior but took the intro class as a freshman and the Advanced TV class as a sophomore. She enjoys DragonMedia because of the fun environment and all of the people. She spends her time playing soccer and working at Crumbl Cookies. She is a co-editor for the CHS Yearbook Staff. She loves spending time at school working in the TV Studio. She plans on going to college at Mizzou or Ole Miss but she is still undecided on her major.
